So, from Sunday to Tuesday I was in Virginia and left Neil all alone with the kids. Let me first tell you about my trip home. My training ending at 4:00 Virginia time so I quickly grabbed my luggage and a cab and headed for the airport. My flight was not until 7:00; however, the front desk said that with traffic and security I should leave by 4:30. Well, there was no traffic and security was a breeze so I was at my gate at 5:30....alone. I was travelling with a collegue who decided that bringing a knife onto the plane was a good idea so he was stuck with security. The first part of the trip to Dallas was perfect. I had a short layover in Dallas and was again on another plane. As we were about to take off there was a mysterious burning smell coming out of the vents. Hmmm.....after about 2 1/2 hours and a new plane we were finally on our way. We arrived in Ontario at 1:00 in the morning. When I finally got home at 2 there was Neil and Araia laying on the couch waiting for me. What a wonderful husband I have! (and the house wasn't even a mess)

Good Job Niel. What a good husband you have.
Steve and I were very, very impressed that he came to church with the two. He even got up in testimony meeting!! I give him two thumbs up on the Daddy and cool husband scale. I hope you had fun too.
Yeah, Neil has a great testimony and you are very lucky to have him.
we are all glad you made it home safe.
I think that's so sweet to see the two of them on the couch together waiting for you. That would be a great sight to see after a long business trip. Glad you're home and I'm glad that you're back on the blogs.
what a great husband. all it takes is going away once and being left with kids to find out how much they really appreciate all you do.
Just hearin about that trip made me tired. Glad you made it home safely...and back to a CLEAN house. That is always music to my ears...or as you've seen on my blog-porn to my eyes.
You missed a good testimony on Sunday. very sweet.
